The School

The IECS Doctoral School (former ICT International Doctoral School) was founded in 2001 and since then delivers the skills necessary to conduct advanced research and to contribute to scientific and technological progress.

The specific objective of the doctoral programme is to train professionals able to develop high-quality and innovative information and telecommunication systems addressed to solving complex problems. It also provides doctoral students with specific training and internship opportunities to enhance their entrepreneurial skills.

The IECS Doctoral School offers a broad training programme which exploits the multidisciplinary nature of the teaching staff and the availability of advanced-level laboratories. The training programme provides multiple international exchange opportunities for both students and teaching staff.

The IECS Doctoral School PhD graduates are currently employed in research centres, universities and companies on a global scale.
